In the Primary School Bedekovčina in school year of 2022./2023., a total of 418 students are enrolled in 24 classes, out of which 363 students attend classes in school in Bedekovčina, and 55 students in district school in Poznanovec. The enrollment areas of our school are the settlements of Bedekovčina, Židovinjak, Poznanovec and part of Lug Poznanovečki. The school has 52 employees, of which 36 are teachers and 3 are professional associates.
In order to improve the quality of the teaching process, which is manifested through the arrangement and equipping of the school premises and continuous professional development of employees, in the last few years, we have been continuously working on the design and implementation of various programs, projects as well as designing new extracurricular activities, especially in the STEM area (http://os-bedekovcina.skole.hr/skola/projekti- GLOBE program; projects "Anthropogenic impact on the water quality of Bedekovčina lakes and the river Krapina'' (authorial long-term project), ''Striving for excellence'' for motivated, talented and gifted students of our school (authorial long-term project), projects ''Generation NEXT and NOW''), in which many students and staff of our school are extremely active and successful. We are especially active in the field of Erasmus + programs. The KA 1 project "Through Diversity to Excellence" was successfully completed, and the projects "School is fun - LET'S PLAY and learn!" and "Alphabet of Science" are in progress, whose implementation will seek to disseminate and implement the highest quality and most applicable new knowledge and experiences in the teaching process in the Primary School Bedekovčina, in order to preserve and raise the level of excellence that the school has. Also, we are partners in the project Erasmus + KA229 (strategic partnerships of schools - applicant Janko Leskovara Primary School Pregrada) "Be a solution - recycle!" and on the large international project “SNEP Program 2 - JUNIOR” (Sexual Violence - Education and Prevention Program 2- JUNIOR) REC program of the EC (Rights, Equality and Citizenship Program - applicant / holder of the Women's Room). 
Students and teachers of our school are regular exhibitors and educators at the "Scientific Picnic" (http://znanstvenipiknik.weebly.com), the largest event for popularizing science in Croatia. 
The group of teachers highly interested in working with talented and gifted pupils continuously perfect themselves in the field of educating gifted pupils, participating in trainings and educations of specialised institutions and NGO in this area.
